The end of 2017, saw MDMS groups performing carols at St Vincents Hospital, East Melbourne, Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital (organised by staff member Jo Markham, sister of the beautiful and talented Gen Broome, who sadly passed away and who is missed so very much), and, as always, in memory of Bob Lisle, a small group sang at Caritas Christi Palliative Care Hospice in Kew.
All these places were SO grateful and appreciative and it gave us all the “warm and fuzzies” to contribute to the community in this way – especially those patients and their families coping with serious illness at this time.
Below is a photo of some happy carollers at Donvale!

“In the blink of an eye, everything can change.
So forgive often and love with all your heart.
You may never know when you might not have that chance again.” |
