Happy New Year everyone!
As you all may know, we are starting off our new year with a bang, by staging our great Variety show at the Karralyka Theatre once again, on Friday, Feb. 16th at 8.00pm.
We were so humbled by the response and support for our concert last year, and encourage you all to spread the word, and come along for another fabulous showcase of talent. There will be something to suit all tastes, a little audience participation thrown in, and the added bonus of meeting up with old friends and new!
Tickets are already selling well, so please don’t miss out, and support this great company that has given so much pleasure to participants and audience alike.
I hope we all have a very happy, healthy and productive year ahead!Ray
The end of 2017, saw MDMS groups performing carols at St Vincents Hospital, East Melbourne, Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital (organised by staff member Jo Markham, sister of the beautiful and talented Gen Broome, who sadly passed away and who is missed so very much), and, as always, in memory of Bob Lisle, a small group sang at Caritas Christi Palliative Care Hospice in Kew.
All these places were SO grateful and appreciative and it gave us all the “warm and fuzzies” to contribute to the community in this way – especially those patients and their families coping with serious illness at this time.
Below is a photo of some happy carollers at Donvale!

So forgive often and love with all your heart.
You may never know when you might not have that chance again.”
Tyler Hess who became engaged to Benny Moods while holidaying in New York city over Christmas and New Year! Romantic!
